Corona Virus (COVID-19) Updates 23rd & 24th March

To the Clergy of the Archdiocese of Southwark
‘Grace and peace to you, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.’
The Government has now officially instructed that all places of worship must close their doors.
This means that, with immediate effect, without any exceptions, all churches and chapels across the Archdiocese must remain closed to the public until further notice.  Click here for Archbishop John Wilson's Statement.

Welcome to the Parish of the Holy Family. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available.

We will welcome the stranger and be committed to the 'option for the poor'.  We recognise that God blessed every one of us with great and different gifts and we commit to share our gifts and our time.  To take responsibility for our part of building up the Kingdom of God: Through active participation in our Parish liturgy, ministries, sacramental programmes and social activities. In the wider community through service and witness.

Our Vision

We, the Parish of the Holy Family, embracing the Catholic communities of Birchington and Westgate-on-Sea, in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark, take as our model The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.  We strive to be a family in which we will pray for one another, know each other by name, value and care for each other.

We ask you Lord Jesus to strengthen and deepen our love for each other, and to help us to espouse in the way we live our lives, the trust and faith of the Holy family of Nazareth, and to bring to fruition our aspirations and effort for the glory of God and the good of all. Amen.
